God is Father who does not disown any of His children!

 

Pope Francis has stated that while the Catholic Church considers homosexuality a sin, it is not a crime to be gay, and he has criticized laws that criminalize homosexuality as unjust. He has emphasized that LGBTQ individuals should be welcomed and respected, and that bishops should show tenderness and accompany them as God does. according to PBS and  the USCCB. Pope Francis, was the head of the Catholic Church from 2013 to 2025, adopted a significantly more accommodating tone on LGBTQ topics than his predecessors. As many may know who are gay, a lot of Catholic priests are gay, I know i have known several of them.  In July 2013, Pope Francis televised "Who am I to judge?" statement was widely reported in the international press, becoming one of his most famous statements on LGBTQ people according to Wikipedia. While the Catholic Church and Popes/clergy are clear that being gay is not a sing, having gay sex is, any fornication outside of marriage is,  sex is just for procreation and love, not for pleasure and being sinful. All people need to turn from sin, not just gays, but all people, we as humans make so many excuses for sin. Gay people have a right to have a life filled with love and peace just like any human being does. Pope Francis even said "God is Father who does not disown any of His children." If you know Jesus, you feel this way, too, God loves you just the way He made you, He gave all of us Jesus to follow, He is our example, our model to follow, all people are called to follow, reflect, forgive, imitate, and love like Jesus! We need to turn from sin, follow Jesus, and have faith in Him, knowing when we do, we are promised life eternal in Heaven with Jesus when we do! All people can love Jesus!

  For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus. —Romans 3:23-24 I love these Bible verses! No matter who you are, sinner, hater, gay, it doesn't matter what person kind of person you are, God loves us all! it is clear here in Romans that we are all sinners and have fallen short of the glory of God, we all have God's grace, not just people who think they are heterosexuals who are more righteous. God and Jesus do not distinguish between the type of person you are, yes we are all sinners, we all have God's grace, all of us! It is key in John 3:16, God loved Jesus so much, He sent Him to us, to save us all, we all have life eternal in Heaven when we follow Jesus! All people have a right to follow Jesus, not just straight people. It makes no sense if only straight people can go to Heaven!
